Words.
Thank you
for these
words that
soothe and stop
and start
and swing
to help
to hurt
to heal
to hear
me
- Dear Me

Welcome,
Thank You for Being Here

Sometimes, when I sit down to write, it feels like I’m not shaping the words as much as the words are shaping me.

There’s a quiet conversation happening—between the self I was, the one I am becoming, and the world I’m trying to understand. Writing, for me, is not just a craft. It is a mirror, a compass, a confession. It is the long pause between questions and answers, where the heart speaks in fragments before the mind can make sense of them.

Each story, essay, or journal entry I write is an act of deep listening—to emotion, memory, and the subtle echoes of other lives that intersect with mine. Through language, I attempt to trace the contours of grief and wonder, hope and uncertainty, the invisible weight of days both ordinary and extraordinary. I write not because I have answers, but because I’m seeking better, truer questions.

And in that seeking, something changes. In me. In the way I view others. In the way I allow myself to be seen.

If my writing ever reaches you—softly, strangely, sharply—I hope it reminds you that you are not alone in your complexity. That being human is hard and beautiful. That your own voice matters, even when it trembles.

Thank you for visiting this space. Thank you for reading, wondering, pausing with me. It means more than I can say that you are here, walking beside me—if only for a few paragraphs—on this ongoing, unfolding journey.

With gratitude,
Sonia

The Yoga Writers Journal
Creativity. Reflection. Manifestation.
A Whimsical Companion for Your Mind-Body Journey
The Yoga Writers Journal is more than a notebook—it's a gentle invitation to slow down, tune in, and connect with yourself on and off the mat.
Beautifully illustrated with whimsical fairies in yoga poses, this paperback journal is designed to support your yoga practice through self-reflection and mindful awareness. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just beginning to explore movement and stillness, this journal helps bridge the space between physical practice and emotional insight.
At the heart of each page are two simple, powerful questions:
How do you feel in your body? and How do you feel in your heart?
These prompts gently guide you to notice what’s present without judgment—whether it’s strength or softness, tension or release, joy or grief. Over time, the practice of writing becomes a mirror, helping you witness your inner landscape with clarity and compassion.
The fairies? They’re not just decoration. They’re tiny reminders that healing can be lighthearted. That transformation doesn’t have to be heavy. That playfulness and presence can coexist.
Use the Yoga Writers Journal as a daily check-in, a post-practice reflection, or a sacred pause in your busy day. However you choose to write, let it be a practice of coming home to yourself.

Thank you for visiting, for breathing, for being curious.
We’re honored to be part of your yoga journey—one page, one pose, one breath at a time.
